Packers Move Onto San Francisco

Just a couple of days ago, the Packers stormed into AT&T Stadium and demolished the Dallas Cowboys in a huge upset. They now move onto San Francisco to take on the 49ers in the Divisional Round of the NFC Playoffs.

Everyone had very low expectations for the Packers coming into this season as it would be their first year in over a decade and a half without Aaron Rodgers as their starting quarterback. It would be Jordan Love taking over the helm and that came with a bunch of critics.

Love has taken over the job with ease, leading the Packers to a postseason appearance and a huge upset over Dallas in the first round. Love has shown that he has the potential to be the next great Packers quarterback like the ones before him.

This year was supposed to be a "rebuild" for the Packers after losing Aaron Rodgers and also being the youngest team in the league. In fact, the Packers are one of the youngest teams of all time to ever make the playoffs. They also made history as the first ever #7 seed to win a playoff game in the NFL Playoffs.

Jordan Love has been proving his doubters wrong left and right but he also has developed a really good supporting staff as well, most notably Aaron Jones. Jones returned to his home state of Texas and put up three touchdowns against the Cowboys to propel the Pack to a huge victory.

Outside of Jones, there are really no other household names on this young Packers offense and most of the guys that are surrounding Jordan Love are either rookies or second year players. The way that the Packers have been built and what competition they have been faced with makes their achievements even better.

They will have a tough task of heading to Santa Clara this weekend to take on the 49ers, but they just marched into Dallas and shocked a lot of people, so what's stopping them from doing it again? As their star cornerback, Jaire Alexander, said, "the Pack is back."
